What happens if you take one of Germanys best-known Post Rock bands, and mix it up with one of Russias best known Post Rock bands? That’s right, you get a Split EP full of surprises. Not just a compilation of tracks, Black Moon Empire is more than that, as the title track blends their unique styles into a single track, which winds along bend and curvess, culminating in a Post Rock eargasm.

Amazing debut, from the mellow, sci-fi like CELESTIAL HYMN to the riff filled head banging BOREALIS it never fails to impress. Still the longest and most involved track MOKUJIN is my favorite . Why? Because the bass playing just fekn kills!
